Recent estimates suggest that nearly 700,000 Texans have lost health insurance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Agape has continued to provide primary care to people who are uninsured, underinsured, and medically underserved. In fact, from April 1 to July 31, Agape completed 34.4% more medical visits than the same time last year. All of this care is funded by generous donations. Annually, the patients of Agape contribute approximately 25% of the Clinic budget through small donations. But this year, our patients are struggling. They have been hard hit by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and simply do not have any additional resources to give. Patient donations have fallen to almost zero. The Clinic is now facing a significant budget shortfall. We are aggressively pursuing new grant opportunities, but we need your help as well!

Can you spare $20 to help someone access medical care? $20 represents the average patient donation and your gift in this amount will help sponsor a patient who is currently unable to donate toward the cost of their care. Interested in doing more? The Clinic is also raising funds to renovate and repair our mobile medical unit for use as a COVID treatment space and to cover some COVID related medical expenses.
